Good to know

Yes. takRide calculates your fare from the distance and time of your trip and shows it before you confirm. The price you agree to is the price you pay, unless you change the destination or add stops mid-trip.

Absolutely. Choose cash when you book and simply pay your driver the fare shown at the end of the trip. Digital payment options are available too.

You earn takPoints every time you complete a ride. Once you have 100 points, you can redeem them for $1 off a future trip. Points can cover up to half of any single fare.

Every driver is verified before they can take trips, you see their name, photo, vehicle and plate before they arrive, and you can share a live trip link with family. See our safety page for more.
